Magnetised insulated preheaters (MIP)
These preheaters are used for the preheating of circumferential and longitudinal welds. Available in 3kW and 4kW ratings, each element has a high grade ceramic fibre insulation mat encased in stainless steel mesh, a stainless steel backing plate fitted with handles for easier application and three integrated high temperature resistant magnets for fixing. Termination of cold tails can be Camlock or Dinse connector.
